General
The basics are free and ad-free: breastfeeding, bottle, sleep, diaper, solids, growth, vaccine, development and postpartum tracking. AI sleep prediction, the Nenni Assistant, the PDF doctor report, voice logging, unlimited history and unlimited caregivers are unlocked with the optional Nenni+ subscription. There are no ads on any plan.
Nenni+ is an optional monthly or yearly subscription. It unlocks AI sleep-time prediction, the Nenni Assistant (an AI parenting guide), the PDF doctor report, voice logging, unlimited history and unlimited caregivers. On the free plan you see the last 30 days; your older entries aren’t deleted, only hidden. The Assistant and voice logging have a usage limit to prevent misuse. You can see current prices in the app and on the App Store.
No. Nenni+ is tied to the baby: when the person who created the baby’s profile subscribes, everyone on the team can use the Nenni+ features for that baby.
New parents and anyone who helps care for a baby. In the busy pace of the first months, it’s hard to remember “when was the last time, and how much?”; Nenni takes that load off.
Right now only on iPhone; you can download it from the App Store. The Android version is ready, and the account steps needed to publish it on Google Play are still in progress. On iPhone, the breastfeeding and sleep timer also shows on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island.
Yes. You can create several baby profiles and switch between them; for twins or siblings you keep a separate log for each.
Privacy & Data
No. There are no ads in Nenni; your data isn’t sold, rented or shared with anyone for marketing. Usage statistics are kept only if you allow it; they’re anonymous and stay on our own server. The only outside measurement tool in the app is Meta’s ad measurement: it runs only if you give both marketing consent and iOS tracking permission, and your health entries never go into it.
Your entries are kept on your phone first, then backed up to servers in Frankfurt (Germany, EU); the cloud infrastructure is Supabase. Transfer is encrypted with TLS. When you use the AI features, the relevant information goes to services in the USA: OpenAI for speech-to-text, Anthropic for the Assistant and sleep analysis. Your baby’s name isn’t sent to these services.
Records such as vaccines, measurements, sleep, feeding and postpartum mood are “special-category” health data under Article 6 of KVKK (the Turkish data protection law). To process them and back them up in the cloud, we ask for your explicit consent; no checkbox comes pre-checked. You can turn off the optional consents in the app at any time. The way to withdraw the consent you gave for cloud backup is to delete your account.
You can add entries by speaking (Nenni+) or dictate a health note (free). In both, the audio goes to OpenAI (USA) only to be turned into text for that action. This happens only if you’ve given your voice logging consent; if you don’t use it, your voice isn’t sent anywhere.
Yes. Your entries are written to your phone first; when internet comes back, they sync to the cloud automatically. Only the Assistant, voice logging and sleep analysis need internet at that moment.
Sharing & Caregivers
Yes. You can add your partner, grandma or a caregiver with an invite link. Everyone logs from their own phone, and entries show up for everyone instantly. On the free plan you can add 2 people to the team; the limit is lifted with Nenni+.
The invite code contains no personal information and is valid for 48 hours. You can cancel an invite you sent, and remove anyone from the team at any time to cut off their access.
Yes, there are three roles. A Parent logs entries, edits the baby’s profile and invites people to the team. A Caregiver logs and edits entries; they can’t change the profile or invite anyone. A Viewer can only look. Your postpartum journal and Edinburgh results are never shared with anyone on the team.
Account & Data deletion
In the app: Profile → Delete account. When you confirm, your entries in the cloud and on your phone are permanently deleted; this can’t be undone. For details, see the Data / Account Deletion page.
Yes. With Profile → Download my data, you can download all your entries as JSON and the daily entries as CSV (opens in Excel). With Nenni+ you can also create a PDF report to take to your pediatrician.
The copy on your phone goes with the app; your entries in the cloud stay unless you delete your account. To move your entries to a new phone, first link an email to your account (Profile → Cloud backup); when you sign in on the new phone with the same email, they come back. If you haven’t linked an email, your account stays tied to that phone.
